Liberty Sailing Club Racing

Liberty Sailing Club offers both amateur racing and team racing from April through September. 

Amateur racing is Monday evenings, and is informal in nature to help develop racing skills. There are no official teams and scores are not kept. 

Our scored race program is on Wednesday and Thursday nights with teams set for the season. Races are held over four 5 week long race series with points from each race counting toward series and overall standings. The top three teams from each night compete against each other in a championship race at the end of the season to determine who is the best overall in the club. 

As a member of Liberty Sailing Club you can race as crew or skipper on a boat throughout the race season. New members typically start out as crew with an experienced racing skipper and crew.
